[Caption-discuss] Winter thingy

I think it's now called the London Comics Festival --
how winsomely generic -- winterval was just some
nickname.
That is kind of the problem --- Caption is seriously
out of funds (due in part to coughing up for a table
at the Winter Thing last year) and we can't afford any
money for this -- the only way I see it working is if
a couple of people who already have tables band
together and do a Caption-style table ...
But, if you've already paid ?£75 (not checked prices
for this year) why would you want to waste any of that
on other people? Even if you whacked up the 10% cut to
30% (which would be a shame, we love keeping it so
low), it'd probably still cost more bother than it was
worth ...
... well, that's the *problems* ...
